How does the AI scoring work?
Each resume is compared against the job description's must-haves and nice-to-haves. Every candidate gets a match score and a plain-language explanation. Anything the model is not confident enough to call goes to a review bucket, and a shortlist cannot be approved until you have looked at each one.
Does Hiring Setu ever reject a candidate on its own?
No. The scoring engine can shortlist a clear match, but it can never move a candidate to a final rejected state by itself. Borderline candidates are always surfaced for a human decision. It also never interviews or tests anyone.
Do I still source candidates myself?
Yes. You download resumes from Naukri, LinkedIn, or wherever you source, the way you do now. Hiring Setu starts once you have the resumes and the JD.
How does the WhatsApp messaging work?
You pick the candidates and a message template. The app opens WhatsApp with the message filled in, from your own number and under your business name. You review it and hit send. There is no automated sending and no bot replying on your behalf.
Where is our data stored?
Resumes and candidate details are stored per account and isolated from every other account. Nothing is shared across consultancies. The product is built around India's DPDP Act.
